New Evo owner here in Ramstein, Germany. Looking to meet some people who can help me learn about it.

Just purchased the 2005 WW Evo 8 RS. Feel free to stop me and say hi! Been waiting along time to own one of these.

New Evo here coming from Japan. Bringing my JDM Evo 8!

I'm also looking forward to learning how to work on the car. I'm a complete beginner, but excited to learn! The car is going on the ship in two weeks, so it should be there in about 4 months!

More importantly...does insurance cover you if you wreck? I dont want to take my car on there if I'm driving with no coverage. Anyone with USAA able to comment? I've read conflicting stories...one said a guy wrecked a ~60,000 dollar car on the 'ring and USAA covered it, others have said they explicitly do NOT cover accidents there.

One of my boss's is organizing the run and posted this
"This is a tourist day on ade-restricted toll road, not technically a race track. All the same, please
check with your insurance company for coverage. Absolutely no rental cars (other than ones rented at
the track) are allowed. USAA covers the tourist drives, I checked. "
Now with that being said, Call and confirm yourself

Great information, thank you! I had planned to call myself once I actually put the car on my plan, but this puts me greatly at ease. I cant wait to get out there!

Im scared to take mine there. I'm not the best driver as I am new to the car but worried about someone wrecking into me trying to pass on a turn or something. I need to get someone to look at my Evo to see if they think its in good shape to take there.

for those of you guys who have a ct9a and want a tune, i talked to my tuner, if we get enough tunes paid for, and a plain ticket plus accommodations, he doesnt mind traveling here to do some tuning. i cant say enough about this guy and his shop, evolution dynamics. they do awesome work, and their engineering is top notch as well.

Can he tune FCON's? And how much are we talking? If it's reasonable and available after October I'm in!
