Germany Evo owners
Yeah, it is pretty expensive off post, but filling up on post is the same pricing as back in the states.
This rotation is just 9 months. There aren't anymore units in Vilseck that are deploying. As for a garage, the only way to get one is if you get a house off post (living off the economy) or can find government housing off post. You have to be an E-7 or higher to be authorized to live out in the economy and receive OHA. Also, it took my car 1 1/2 months to get here. I shipped it out on Jan 1 and it arrived in Germany on Feb 14. I would recommend shipping yours out at least a month ahead of time.

esso is garbage. if you want to use some good quality fuel, use aral. it comes completely out of pocket but its great quality. i had a friend who was tuning his mustang in mannheim and was having a lot of problems, had to keep pulling timing, but switched to aral, using the same grade and was able to push a lot more timing. i hate esso. they arent open 24/7 like aral or a lot of other gas stations. i dont know why aafes has given them so much of our business.

What's a good place to start looking for a cheap beater, debating on either shipping the evo or getting something cheap for the time being. All depends on what I can find available.
What base are you going to? They have sites like:
Ramsteinyardsales.com or check bookoo locations close to your base. (These sites are closed on sundays btw)
Ship the Evo
Nurburgring!
My brothers Evo is shipping out on monday and I got mine here. Mines slow though
