Hey everyone, I'm finally in Germany, with my Evo X as well. So I have long euro plates for the front and back. The back looks fine but the front is weird because the plate holder I have in the front is for US plates. Does anyone have info on euro plate holder, such as part number? And if it is mounted to the bumper using the same holes as the US plate holder? If I have to drill new holes for a euro plate holder I'm not even going to bother.

Awesome

What was the X like to drive? Have you seen many evos on that side of town? In the south I have only seen one.. a red 9 (stripped bare with buckets inside)...

What gets me a little is the Tüv here, they are so stringent on everything, did you managed to clear the inspections ok with your X and the mods?

PM me when u find ur 8 or 9, we can go for a cruise around town

Hey dude,

You can either try going to a local garage and and ask if they have one lying around or try the local council chamber (Landratsamt) they can probably direct you... or good old ebay

http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_trksi...at=0&_from=R40

There are quite a few different ones available on ebay, try and find one where it has lots of mounting holes, it should match up to the US ones.

Might be a good idea while you are here, to drop the US plate holders and put the euro ones on. And when you go back swap them again.

Welcome to Germany

Thanks for the help. They sell plate holders here at the military base nearby so I got one. Like you said, I just swapped out the USDM front plate mount for it and it worked great, looks much better than with a proper mount instead of having a euro plate on the usdm mount haha.
