Also, It sounds to me like we'll need to install a rear fog light...

What about those of us running a TBE? The o2 sensors aren't throwing any codes. But I suppose it'd fail a visual and probably the sniff test.

I guess I may have to look into getting a lame-o catback installed for the time im in England...
The rear fog is as simple as running an inline switch to the passenger rear reverselight and putting a red LED in it.

TBE is no issue as long as you have some sort of cat on it for the sniff test. Of course there are some shady testers out that will pass it but it no big deal to me.

Why would you have to buy new lights? To fix the headllights and foglight should cost no more than $50 total and a little bit of your time. And my lights are HID as well.

I'm bout to head out to work but can post pics of all my work later.

you shouldnt have to buy new headlights, or even rewire your current ones.
I'm probably going to bake open the casing, and pull the amber lenses out. The turn signal bulbs are already amber. Done.
Then buy an oem rear fog light kit and wire it in. Either wire it into the switch for the front fog lights or wire in it's own switch. Done.

True... that'd be much easier.

I have the Greddy TI-C which doesn't leave a place for me to put the cat back in... so for the time I'm in the UK, I'll just be running a cheapo catback.

Thanks for the help!

To hell with pulling the light apart. I've read too many bad experiences with condensation later. Especially as much as it rains here. I chose the rewire because it simply looks better to me with lights reversed.
