You need the gauge, there is a cable that you can make that will allow you to datalog via the AEM Wideband. Also, stick with the stock ecu, mellon is making over 600 hp on the stock ecu. He is a great tuner and does it all over emails. He will walk you through the whole process step-by-step.

unless you live by Buschur Racing (which you dont), or want to drop $1k plus for the AEM EMS, stock will work fine till you want to make huge power!

Ok, so when I wire in the innovative wideband sensor into the harness, what do I do with the aem guage to get everything working right?

You don't need both an Innovate and AEM wideband, either one should work. I have the AEM wideband gauge and it comes with the sensor and a lead output to data log although I haven't used the data logging feature myself.

I just want one wideband, one bung, but want to have it used for datalogging, but at the same time, be able to see afrs on the gauge as well. I don't know how you would go about wiring that up or if it's possible.

The AEM UEGO Wideband comes with the 02 sensor, gauge, and wiring. All you have to do is hook it up and wire it in. As for the data logging, there is a wire on the wire harness made for that. you then have to buy an RS232 serial cable from radio shack and wire it in.

You do not need the Innovative and AEM. Just buy the AEM UEGO and when you get it shoot me a PM and I will help you wire it up and make the data logging cable.

Will do. I will be wanting to use the evoflash software to tune. That won't be a problem will it? I ask b/c you said something about a cable.

The data cable goes into the 9 port serial cable on your laptop. If you dont have one you will need a serial to usb adaptor. ECU Flash uses the tactrix cable which is OBD II to USB, this is a serial cable. You will use both at the same time. This cable transfors the data from the UEGO gauge to your computer.

Alright, what if I want to be able to see the afr when I'm not logging and I'm just driving the car around daily? If I don't have a guage, how am I gonna know to check on my tune? Just do it when the weather changes, or I use different fuel, or whatever the case may be? Do I even need the gauge?

the Innovative xd-16 is a afr gauge along with datalogging program (logworks i think its called) and the cable....

you really should be reading in the ecuflash section and understand what your doing before you make any changes to your tune....

So the LC-1 wires into the oem ecu harness? Then the XD-16 hooks into that? Am I close? Any wiring diagrams? Pics of this setup. Just something to get a visual?

You're better off posting in the right section, as this doesn't pertain to tuning results. Look in the Ecuflash sub-forum or try searching for your answers.
