So this was done on the T31 2.5" Ford 5 Bolt .63 AR housing? Is there any surge at all? It doesn't look like there is surge on the dyno runs Does it feel like the .63 is choking it up at all? Thanks

Keep in mind that he is on the Stock MAF as well.. This car has a GM maf in the UICP. but this is definitely crazy power on the stock ecu! And great job of tuning it with the 1600's!!!

the gm maf is there to prevent failure All the tuning was using stock ecu and the translator was not use at all for tuning this set-up. Im sure theirs alot of guys on here that can tell you what happens when to much boost is run on a stock maf! Also i think tim likes his hta88 just the way it is! The gm maf does not help the power any, its a restriction just like the stock maf!

DLL is not the same as bolting a car onto a dyno, at all..... The accuracy of repeated runs on a dyno eliminates so many variables that DLL does not account for.

Slope of road, wind, turning the wheel, the list of variables that the car is having to deal with whilst making pulls on the road vs being strapped down on a dyno are endless.

DLL runs are good for one person to compare previous results on there own exact car, but to comapre DLL runs from car to car or person to person or to a dyno is just apples to fruitcakes comparison.

I agree, even dyno numbers shouldn't be directly compared to another dyno. It's just a point of reference.

when I went 10.40 @ 135 on straight 93 octane in a stock weight evo DLL showed 600awhp for what it's worth. The buschur built/tuned cars on pump trapping the same were seeing 550-575awhp on their stingy dyno.

the problem with that is, i seen many honeycombs on dsm that come out when you sucking in so much air, and i dont want my $1700 turbo to blow up because of it.
