Look at every VIII in there they still did decent numbers on CBRD's "heartbreaker" dyno. You guys know his numbers suck. The only ones wanting to argue are the ones with the big CBRD in there sig. Im not trien to argue or bash Im just saying its kind of embarrasing.
You obviously either don't care enough or are just not bright enough to look at the reasons why it's making less power than some of the other BBK results. It has already been mentioned that the exhaust is not a full 3" and is incredibly restrictive. On top of that, the fact that you're basing your impression on dyno numbers explains your knowledge on the situation. Him making 322 on this dyno with a incredibly restrictive exhaust and no cams is alot closer to your 387 on a dyno jet than you think.

You come in here telling the OP his numbers suck and the turbo sucks. Do you really think you are justified in that? Then you try and point me out and discredit me/anyone else who tries to explain the numbers to you because I/we support CBRD?

The only thing that is embarrassing is your lack or reading comprehension along with the way you conduct yourself on this forum.

Ive said the whole time I was not trying to argue but ask the OP if he was happy with those numbers. Im done here.

BTW ill put a bet with anyone here that with the same mods this same car would do 380 on a ddyynojet.

Then wouldnt that make his numbers pretty good without cams? Not trying to argue, just seems like you're contradicting yourself a bit.

Also the OP has stated several times that he is happy with the car.

Getting rid of the cat, getting some cams, and having a full 3 inch exhaust should really help the car out. I would venture to say he's missing 40whp with that. Notice how the torque holds out too?, stock turbo evo 8s and 9s usually drop to 250-260trq at redline with boltons on a dynojet. The numbers aren't too low by any means..

you sir might be the dumbest person on this forum. You contradicted yourself. Saying his numbers are garbage, then you go and say he would make 380wheel on a dynojet, 380 wheels would be awsome for his mods.

why dont you go onto a honda forumm or something in that nature, WE (evom) cant stand newbies who come in and think they no everything when all the OP was trying to do was posst up his numbers.

you obviously dont no the first thing about tuning/working on cars, so keep your rediculous comments to yourself, your the only duesch in here arguing.

and BTW, you never explain what 387@315 means.......

i wold love to see you car make that power with 3 mods done if that even means your numbers?

SO...What does 387@315 stand for? many are subscribed for your answer.

To the OP, good numbers man. Its nothing like instant power. BTW, have you ported your ex mani? that can add a few poinies as well as a 65mm tb.

Explain why companies sponsor anyone. Or for that matter, explain why a sponsored individual would not post their sponsors in their sig. I want to hear your answer. You have been registered a few days and make a point of bashing a members thread/car without looking into the details. this is why you are being looked at in this way.

Yes i registered because I was tired of looking around at some of these lame threads. Its just that you jump in being all defensive. I bet if this was about the FP products you wouldnt have anything to say would you?

^Dude, trust me, I know BluByYouEvoVIII personally, he is speaking fact. He's has 2 evos, one of which is a dedicated T/A car and has had pretty much the gambit of hot evo parts and setups from the last couple of years. Not to mention he works for one of the top shops in Georgia and the tristate and has seen Greens, Reds, BBKs, 35rs, 30rs, meth, whatev on a DD dyno. This guy is speaking fact. Not because he's sponsored by CBRD but because he has seen first hand how mods work together and tune on a DD dyno. As a matter of fact he was at one point thinking of running a FP Red but it just wasn't right for the application. I'm sure he could care less what you think about CBRD or the BBK or the OPs numbers he is just trying to tell you the truth and dissuade you from bashing people. I'm not trying to fight BluByYouEvoVIII's battles but I really think you see him as getting defensive and I think you should be seeing him as someone with experience.

Im not a nut-swinger but he(BluByYouEvoVIII) had a very nice FP GREEN set-up on his T/A when it used to be his DD. I know he would support them too because I almost bought the turbo from him when he changed his entire set-up.

He, like Me, like many of We, dont support people who come on here and bash people's cars, dyno numbers, shops, and products. There is a proper way to do things. If you have something negative or highly critical on here to say then do either of the following:

1. USE THE PRIVATE MESSAGE OPTION
2. BE READY TO BACK IT UP WITH A LOT OF EXP, EVIDENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE

Remember, all of us drive&love Evo's

"Looking at all of these lame threads", huh???

I dont care who he works for. I had no intention of coming in here bashing CBRD. If it was a FP product or a tomei product i still would have said the samething. My point was it just didnt make sense not to have supporting mods and throw that turbo on to get those numbers. After the OP said he felt he did have supporting mods minus the cams i askd him if he was happy with the numbers and he never anwsered.

Im done with this thread. Hope the OP is happy and gets those cams put in soon.

ive responded, and stated that this car has less than optimal parts...

that will change in the future...

we put the turbo on, it has the potential, which has been proven...

we will make adjustments and it will end up where it should be.

if you want to support FP and their Red, and their numbers on different dynos, please do so, but in a different thread...

If i wanted to take the time to post in all of the threads for numbers I thought were low, wrong, erratic, etc, i wouldnt have anymore time in my day.

cheers

we just removed ryans BIG power Ptrim style turbo and dropped him to something smaller..

I like the fact that he, and many of our clients, understand power DELIVERY is more important than peak numbers.

cheers
