took the car and had the bbk full ported put on. here are my dyno resalts at 24 psi

That's some good power for that boost.

 

this car has a very very restrictive exhaust, greddy quiet sp2... chokes down to like 2.2" at the muffler and 2.5" at the cat pipe...

so, once we replace that, throw in some cams, i expect her to make 365ish

Man, cams are prolly your #1 hurt point right now! Toss in a set of HKS 280's sometime and you'll be in good shape! Great power for the stock cams on an 8 though! I <3 BBK!

 

noticed its an 8. that car has so much more left in it. throw in a o2 dump + full 3inch tbe + intercooler+CBRD retune = FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

 

good #'s. Not bad for stock cams and an evo 8.

 

it has a retune, and a fmic and o2 housing,

needs new exhaust and some cams, and 60K service.

cams exhaust and retune it will be another bbk beast. already making great power for a stock camed 8.

 

it's nice to see to lightly modded car with the BBK... one reason I didn't go with one is because I wasn't sure what it would do for me!
BTW Nice #'s for the mods!!!

 

This car will make atleast 360hp with cams and exhaust. I have similar mods with S1's and made 361hp on my evo 8 on 23psi.

I fell in love with the car again. I was talking to chad i am doing cams at the 60 k and a new exhaust maby this june

not bad. get some cams!! absolutely mandatory for VIII's.

 

Perrin intake + BBK = sounds like a jet under spool!!!!!! Also i am doing the s1 cams maby this year. Caleb is doing the s1 cams soon so we will see how his car does with the bbk with them.

here are a few notes regarding this particular car...

it was completely stock before with the exception of a catback...

that combination is apprx 200whp on our dyno...

the car is now up over 100whp... with some bolt ons...

that being said... the catback is 2.5" in the muffler (possibly even smaller)....

it also has a cat....

and, stock cams, etc...

i was very pleased with the results... as was our client

once she gets more bolt ons and some cams, she will liven up a bit.
