Nice numbers! Why do you still have a stock IC? That is one of the first, basic mods done for the Evo. Aftermarket cams but a stock IC. Strange. Good luck at the track!

Your Evo is running strong for sure! Must be nice to have hit 30 psi. I had to stop at 26 psi because the stock clutch gave up. Another 4 psi would have put me around 450/450 on RRE's dyno.

The stock intercoolers are not that bad, i would say they are far from the first basic mod. Nice numbers though, i am tuning my VIII on the IX turbo and E85 in a month or so.

I think you may be mis-informed here. The stock IC is a pretty significant bottleneck when it comes to making power. Shops like AMS, BR, AWD Motorsports, etc. will tell you that the stock IC should be one of the first items replaced. If you look at the staged packages from AMS and BR, you will find that an aftermarket IC is part apart of Stage 3. Most Evo owners purchase Stages 1-3 at the beginning of the mod process, unless they are strapped for cash.

I'm sure there are gains to be had, there is no doubt there. I just don't think it is 100% needed on the stock turbo. Especially on E85 since it provides such a great cooling effect. The OP's results prove that. Either way, no need to clog the post up, great results!

+1 stock intercooler isn't all that bad, but I believe 400whp is pretty much its limit.
