Unfortunately I have had to file for small claims court. The person I ordered the spec clutch through has had my money for 30 days and I still do not have my clutch, just a mouth full of excuses. He has also refused to issue me a refund as well. I even went so far as to call spec themselves to verify an order was even placed for the clutch the week I paid for it and sadly there was no order on record. I am now going to order the parts to convert my Exedy Twin into a Triple in the mean time so I can get back to the track.

My car was the first Evo with the SPEC Supertwin. I was the Guinnea pig for development of this clutch in the Evo platform. It took a few time to get it right, but I beleive I ended up with a great all-around clutch for this application.
I came right from the SPEC mini twin which is just like the Tilton, and Mike is right when he says it will not shift like a 7.25" light weight clutch. It wont. It will drive a hell of alot better, hold far more power, not throw p0300 codes, not stall at stops, not make awful rattling noises on decel or when the clutch is depressed, and be much easier to launch because the engagement is not "light switch". For an all out race car this is not the best clutch. The mass definately slow your ability to shift like lightning. For a person with a high HP street car that occaisionally does drag or road course it is perfect compromise. I have no problem flat-shifting at 8100 at the strip and it works very well on the road course.
In both racing scenarios the smaller clutch does perform better, but if you actually drive your Evo weekly or takes girls out in it you will appreciate the civility of the SPEC.
