Are you 2.3l guys happy?

If nobody buys my car and things start to look a little more promising with the personal life and I were to keep it ive been thinking about doing something with the motor.

If you were to only go to the track once or twice a year maybe 3 times but do a lot of driving on the street and highway passes would you go with a 2.0l built or a 2.3? If you have a 2.3l and could do it over again what would you do?

If you went 2.0l are you happy with it. If you went 2.3l are you happy with it?

The down low torque makes daily driving much nicer!

And makes racing much easier! Keeps my 35r on boost all the time!

very cool i dont go to the track much..i go maybe one to three times a year..i notice that most ppl keep a built 2.0l so they can rev higher and trap higher in the 1/4 mile..couldnt you still trap high with a 2.3l?

On the stock trans you'll have to shift into 5th if you're making decent power. I had mine built with the 4.11 final drive so I can stay in 4th. Good way to go!

Well..im planning on building everything..

I just want an absolute monster..I keep thinking how sweet a 2.3l would be with a HTA 37R on it. That has got to be awesome!

The 37R would be = to the T67 which is the same turbo my supra buddy runs right now.

If you could switch your set-up, what would you go with? 2.0?

Yeah if you could change your set up what would you go with? A lot of these guys seem to be happy with the 2.3l. Do you go to the drag strip a lot?

Thumbs up

2.3L is great but don't use too big of a turbo and shorten the powerband too much.
