Maybe but I don't have that kind of gouda right now. 3 port boost solenoid tuned will hold whatever desired psi I want with my setup. With fine tuning it's possible to hold lets say 28psi all the way to redline. That can't be done with a 2 port MBC or EBC.

Aem can hold boost across the power band like a 3 port and has other capabilities too. Like making the car drive around smoother and it helps the car to get into boost smoother also, and has all sorts of other great features that one can use on their daily driver. I would just save and go straight to that, that is my route instead of going with the 3 port soleniod. The aem will also help the idle with 1000cc injectors, because with the stock ecu, it has trouble controling the idle, which at some points becomes very annoying when taking of and slowing down.

this modding bug is making me broke....i just finished spending about 3k this summer on parts and now i need another like 1200 to do some other stuff. i think i am going to do the grimmspeed 3 port instead of my ams mbc. now the list has grown to the fp 80mm cover, 3port, fp intake, cbrd fmic and of course the fp oil line

Yes that is true about the AEM but it's still uses a 2 port bleed MAC Valve so it does have some limitations. I'm not doing AEM that will only happen if I move to FL they have no inspections I have no issues with my 1k's and stock ECU. Sorry to disagree with you but the Stock ECU revolution is taking over. The car starts fine cold and hot no problem. I cruise around on local streets just fine. The only thing I might do is lower my idle just a little but I think the screw is a bit far out right now so no big deal. Most of the features that AEM has like gear dependent boost, ecu control boost, 2 step, valet mode, alt maps, wideband integration and other stuff can be done with stock ecu with a few simple lines of code and tuning time. Since I have a great tuner I should be ok. I might possible convert to speed density but I have to read up on that a bit more

I know if you order the version 1 oil line then the new version only cost about $50. But I mean it's never ending damn you why did you have to make a car we all love After I do this alt map switch, 3 port solenoid, 4 bar omni map sensor. I'll save my money for meth and maybe a Buschur 2.1L block and stage 3 head and then I'm done unless I snake a deal to get a FP Black turbo then I will be officially done. But making 500-550 on stock block with race gas and or meth was my goal and I'll be pretty much done next spring.

i read a little bit about the fp black....thats gonna be insane!!! but i will mot likely stick to pump gas for quite a while because i know once meth goes in i will definitely need a new clutch.

you guys should come to efi logics this saturday. id love to check out your cars. there are going to be subies, evos, mustangs and a bunch of other cars i am sure.

I know when your car is on with ac the stock ecu, it gives you problems when rolling to a stop, the car shuts off or is about to turn off. If you leave the car completely in gear and then stop, 99 percent of the time the car will not turn off.

To be honest with you no not at all. My ECU seems to be very happy with the part combo and tune. And dude I'm not BS'ing you either my tune feels PERFECT! I have no issues. I was thinking about getting AEM when Jimmy had the car and was doing the build. But I don't know if it's the combo of parts or Junior's tune but my ECU gives me 0 problems.....hot, cold, a/c, bumper to bumper traffic with a/c I have no problems. I have had other people drive my car and all they say is "I'm having Junior tune my car". My dad who I told about the car how much hp I made drove the car actually on Friday and he was shocked that it was so smooth just cruising and when you lay on the throttle how smooth it is.

Oh and I quote my best man in my wedding "there is no reason for a 4cylinder to be that fast"

Your idle must be pretty high. I dont like a high idle it makes the car sound to loud, when sitting and not moving. What intake tube do you have?

I'm going to change my spring in my bov to see of that helps. Maybe the spring in my bov is too tight?
