1 quick question guys, iam on a big budget. iam making 315 whp on dynojet now, iam thinking on converting to e85 . Can a stock 04 evo 8 turbo with e85 run or making power as with an evo with fp red with 93 pump gas.? thanks. i am desperate for power now. i might go all out and buy an red and tune with e85 , but affaid to blow up the engine.

I have to agree. I had a set of 780 brand new never used and I sold them and got 1k's. Although Jimmy said I would have a problem with them in terms of my driveability. But the car starts up just fine I have to let it idle for about 60 secs or the car acts like it want to flood a little. But I mean you can only do but so much with stock ECU right. But getting the 1k's was only to ensure I had enough fuel for pump and possible race gas. But for you I think that 880's should be good you will need them when you change the IC.
I'm wondering too?

I'm glad I forced you to go up there. And I think you will make the right choice for yourself. You have the fall and winter to figure out what you want to do. I still think that pump is for you and I'm sorry flame me if you will but the new HTA Green is for you

i cant wait until i can get my CBRD front mount intercooler....i need a few other things before that but when i saw that guy ATKINS gain like 30whp with just changing the intercooler...i wanted it. once i get the 80mm, fp intake, oil line, and the intercooler i am going back to The Shop....and its going to be cold out this time
I hit 370 @ 3900 and I started the pull @ 3200. Mind you this is prior to mivec tuning.
I'm just pointing out that you guys don't understand how PID controllers or actuators work.
Not to mention you're using a 1.2 CF at sea level in late September... so dive give me "low reading"

stock bumpsticks. I'm putting the magnus on this week and heading to the dyno this coming weekend to spend a few hours tuning the car. You'll get to see what a fully optimized MIVEC map does for spoolup/powerband.
