Highest HP 4g63 engine (from 2007)

I think people forget that they've taken an evo 163mph in the quarter while fighting for traction. I know 163 is nothing special but most of the people talking crap haven't even gotten close haha

I'm guessing they put their resources to getting the subaru to go 8.8

See the video above and tell me that that's not an auto...
Now the subject red EVO indeed did 162 mph but for a methanol car claiming 1600-1700 bhp isn't that impressive...
Let's wait to see the silver 2000 bhp EVO at the next event in a couple of weeks, if it's ready... I will definitely not hold my breath...
Thanks for correcting me. Auto/manual, full interior/race car, 500/1000hp = at 8.7 either way it's an accomplishment.
According to ET, the red evo was at lower boost on those runs so it power was below what it dynod.

Just wait til he puts on the inconel exhaust, the Auto trans, and the driveshafts made of unobtanium.
He'll be running with funny cars.
That red evo has been dynoed 1400+ on an independent dyno...
6-7 drag races per year over here and no track to practice between...
All tests etc are done during the runs of each race...
All this is time consuming for the cars/people to show their full potential
it's not the 1st time hp numbers do not much track times...
Even the Greek AMS Evo(1100whp) needed lots of races for 9.0sec quarter mile...
Unfortunately we can not go to tracks every weekend for testing...only time will tell...
no matter if the gearbox is auto or manual it doesn't matter...car is impressive as it is and it has lots more to give..

My personal opinion is that they are using a unit from Rigoli Performance from Australia, who has a 4 speed auto box for their 4wd car that has ran 8.0 sec I think. Maybe they built their own auto setup. Who knows...
But is it this bad to say that you are using parts from another company too? Like everything was developed now and all others are ****!
Anyway... Good luck to them, both shop and customers.
there's a lot of pictures of the red car and its motor, why are you telling this guy to prove anything to you? He is just sharing information he knows, do your own research on the matter?
Side note, wow this thread has 1888 posts, and almost 750k views, must be very good for evolutionm traffic. I wonder where it ranks for most viewed threads on this forum.
