what are some changes to the chassis strengthening, transmission, transfercase to handle this kind of tq and hp. I know you showed the clutch/engine/turbo. But the car will twist in half with 2500hp and over 1000tq with standard chassis/tcase correct? The engine is efficient and a monster but can the car handle it? 14psi 1000hp absolute crazy!

We make the best we can as matter the chassis strengthening, we reinforce it where ever we can, we place cromemoly roll cages, front and rear frame systems and billet parts and billet wishbones and wrc parts. We can make all evo parts in billet but we think its not necessary. We double weld the stock chassis joins etc. Nothing else we can do i think.

EXCELLENT response man. I really think the community underestimates the dangers of just upping the power and torque with bonestock chassis. I see you have thought of it all. With that kind of strengthening, the car will just be brutal feeling but the car wont snap. This is basically wrc, I'm glad you're on this forum and showing us the "gap" between gaining hp and tq to go faster and going "Pro"

Prices aren't as bad as you think, they are actually pretty reasonable

Its time to test the stage3 cams to our race engine to see how performs.
The last evo8 we tried to test, was not appropriate setup.

Tomorrow is the test.

I ve just finish the dyno with stage3 and 15psi.

We had at 15psi 814hp @ 11.200rpms as i remember.
Give me time to upload graphs and pics and more details.

As I wrote to my previous post. We wanted to test the stage3 to a race engine how performs in real action not only to our calculations. So we use stock fuel not methanol to have clear results and comparisons to stage 2 and 1. We are 90% satisfied with the results and our expectations as we were expecting the power diagram to be even better and as rpms goes up the power climbs more aggressive. But the backpressure gause seems to had different opinion, the backpressure problems starts from 10.200rpms to the 11.300. That’s why we didn’t rev the engine more rpms. The second problem was the clutch. For the dyno we place a cerametallic disc pack and had a lot of vibrations from dynorun to dynorun as the rpms goes higher. We stop the dyno as the vibration was so big we didn’t hurt the engine and trasmition.

If u see the dynographs the little spikes are the problem. We started the runs with no imbalance vibrations and when we rev it above 10.000 starts more and more. I had not time to make the curve better because of it, but as matter the power I don’t think we could have more even from the compressor side of the turbo and the turbine side. The turbo at 15 psi had only 67-68lbs/min.

We want to try the stage 4 soon, but with bigger turbo and different cylinder head that can support them. The cylinder head for the 4 is ready already, there we will test the new billet rocker arms in action, lighter valves and different flow ration between intake – exhaust than stock 4g63 as the cylinder head chamber size and shape are totally different than stock also.
