PTE 6262 / RRE Tuning...
I would like to thank the people from RRE for doing an excellent job on my car. Specially Mike, Robert Honda and Scott Gray (Dr. Gray)...
I would also like to thank Mike from AWD Motorsports for helping me choose the right combination of adequate mods, when I told him didnt care about the hp but making a 10 second car a 100% daily driver...
After the car was tuned by Scott, my Idle felt completely different, to me it was perfect, I didnt think it could be better, but now its a difference like night and day, even with the my AC on and the car temperature being cold, it feels like the car is at normal temperature and the AC off.
The numbers I got where 509 at 27 psi with Q16 and 388 with 20 psi and 91 octane, according to Robert the dyno reads 10% less than a dynojet, but in the end the dyno numbers are not that relevant, what matters is 1/4 times and speed in the end...
Scott wanted to leave it at 27 psi because the motor is completely stock, I think I could take it up to 30 psi, what do you guys think? I'm very happy at the moment with the results, I hope to reach the 10's in the 1/4. Where I live we dont have a 1/4 mile track, we only have a 1/8 mile one. My last pass there I had a 7.7 at 93 mph with 327 hp in a dynojet, I hope to get in the low 7's or high 6´s..
I love My BOOST GRAPH.....
I would again like to thank the people at RRE

Congrats on the new power!
Here are a couple examples from cars we have tuned w/ fairly similar mods etc.
Sean Burgess our tuner tends to run our Evos to about 27psi on 91oct......i'm sure you could try 30psi but to me on a stock block why do it w/ the chance of getting some bad gas etc.
Not sure if RRE has had any Evos to compare their hp figures to mph at the drag strip but assuming it reads in the ballpark of most MD's / DD's / DJ's / DP's i dont' see any problem w/ you running a 10sec pass so long as you have at least a 1.6x 60ft and don't mis-shift

Just FYI Patrick, their dynapak reads about 10-11% higher than our Mustang. (Have had a couple back and forth)

That would be pretty much a bottom 11 car w/ an average driver and w/ a good "shoe" possibly a 10.99 @ 125mph

In the 1/8 mi you gotta leave hard and shift quickly to see those sub 7.0.
I wouldn't get too caught up in the 500 # just get it to the track and see what it does first
I think yuu can turn this up to at least 30-31 psi which will get you 30-40 hp more
slightly off topic, when are you planning on going to the 1/8 mile? i'm local to you and i wouldn't mind checking out your car in action.

i think your new enemy will be wheel spin. with the new power you have, wheel spin will be a factor in determining how low in the 7's you can go in the 1/8 mile.
