This turbo was made for these type of shaft speeds...look at Roberts own testing and their car

Thanks guys

One thing about the turbo I will warn you about is its loud while normal driving. Semi trucks might be Jealous.

Here are some pics of it on the car

^good to hear about the turbo whine! I have asked in other threads and gotten no answer. I like the sound of the 80mm Red and hoped this would be just as loud/louder. Coming from turbo diesels, I love that sound to this day!

Does E98 like being 11:1 as opposed to 12:1 or does the higher compression like a richer mix?

Thats some sweet power, that turbo is def wicked.

We tune most E98/e85 cars in the 11.5-12.0 Range. The high comp does not need to be ricer I just have it that way to keep it safe.

I run my cars pretty hard on the street. (Rain, Cold, hot ) So I can have many elements change from day to day and If I keep the AFRs rich it can lean out a point and not be a big deal ware as if I was at 12.0 and it leaned out a point it would be a big deal.

On the dyno I brought the car from 10.5-10.8 range upto a 11.5 and did not see much power gain or smoothing of the graph. I did add about 2 deg of timing over the other turbo and that did add about 15hp and smoothed the graph some.

Nicely done Lucas! I dig the results, love the fact that you did it all with a stock manifold and heatshield in place, and without dumping the WG gas! I bet that car will surprise a lot of people setup that way, being that quiet, total stealth
