Hey Lucas happy turkey day... I was looking at the pictures of the turbo and was wondering, did you port the compressor housing? It looks good, i also have the titek o2 housing and i'll be porting mine out also but not sure about the compressor housing when i get my fp black. Do you think i should? Some feedback would be great Thanks..

We just ported the Comp outlet to match my larger ETS pipe that bolts on the turbo.

With you making all that power, I am excited to see what my "DSM Black" will do. This is Jason with the Blue 2g Talon. I have a dsm version of the black that Robert made for me. Its the HTA82 comp with the tdo6h turbine, the major difference is that I have the tdo6h compressor housing with the 3" inlet. I am excited to see what kind of magic you do with it on my car. Great numbers Lucas!!

Pics? I've been saying for awhile that they should be making more DSM turbos like this, but the truth is they probably don't want to compete with themselves and hurt sales of the FP30 housing bolt-ons. I think the old skool Red/Green are long overdue for updates given what they're offering in the EVO/Subie world lately. They've finally taken a step forward with the HTA68 that looks like a standard EVOIII 16g. Hopefully they'll do the HTA73 to replace the 20g/Green, HTA76 to replace the Red, and what you've got as a DSM Black. Even if they don't advertise it, it's nice to know they'll put something like that together for you if ya ask though.

I totally agree with you Steve. I don't have pics of the turbo, cause my girlfriend bought the turbo for my Christmas present and I can't see it until then. I am excited to see it, cause I can't really compare the look of it to any of the evo turbos. FP is currently planning on releasing a new DSM Green in the late winter/early spring area and Robert told me that it would have the 76HTA wheel on the green. I'm not sure what it will have in the end though. Robert really took care of my needs with this turbo, and was very willing to hook me up with a custom one-off turbo. The best part about the whole thing is that it cost half of what the Evo Black goes for.
I just hope that my turbo spools and makes power like the Evo Black.
I can't wait to see your car dyno at Drift Office Lucas, it will be really fun to hear how loud the turbo really is like you mentioned.

It is a dsm 7cm^2 turbine housing, and it has the tdo6h compressor housing. The compressor housing is not surge ported, but it is a 3" inlet and 2" outlet. Robert said I could have problems with surging, but there is only one way to find out. If I get a lot of surging, Robert will make me a custom 4" surge ported compressor housing.
