ER Tuned 650+ WHP FP Black

I am very happy with this turbo for internal gate and bolt on its just amazing. I still have some more stuff to play with in parts and tuning. We may try a ex dump on the o2 housing to see what we can gain.

This is copy of my post I started this morning https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...yno-queen.html

Here are some pics of the Black and some of our small O2 housing and comp housing mods.

This turbo is not going to dump to atmosphere at the moment so I know that could hurt power just a bit.

Hoping for close to 700whp out of the car with out pushing the tune to crazy.
Should have it on the dyno later today or tomorrow.

I call my car a dyno queen because its 11:1 comp Alum rod motor with a electric water pump and runs on E98 fuel. So it allways seems to be atleast 50hp over the avg guy on the same turbo.

'04 SSL EVO full weight minus spare tire and Jack (3400lbs with me)
-ETS 5in IC and 3in piping with ETS intake pipe
-FIC 2150s
-AEM EMS
-TiAL BOV
-Dual Bosh O40 pumps external
-E98 fuel
-spike 41psi hold 34psi to redline.
-AEM EMS Tuning done by me
-FP Black
-TiTek O2 housing moded to true 3in by us
-ER 11:1 alum rod motor
-Electric water pump
-APM Racing C&C ported Head
-GSC S2 with Kiggly beehive valve springs
-Magnus Cast intake
-intake spacer
-Mil.Spec 65mm TB
-BR 3in TBE with 3in muff added in the middle (quite )
-Exedy SR triple
-EnglishRacing built tranny with a IX taller 1st
-All AC and PS was hooked up and works
-SparkTech Non CDI

This was about a 41psi spike falling to 34psi by 9k.

This is Spool vs my ETS kit. The extra 90hp up top on the ETS kit did feel better though

This is the O2 housing before we moded it.

Sick power!! I may have missed it but what exhaust manifold are you running? If stock, who ported it?

Damn! Good job Lucas. It is amazing what these bolt on turbos are capable of.

Its gonna kill the 35R'ish + header kit market, but make you guys actually build decent O2 housing setups (opening market people, git 'er done). They are LONG overdue. Best option right now is the Works unit, *if* you can get one.

They'll have BlkCarbonEvo's car at their shop with his o2 housing that I made for him hanging out. Lucas you should try Mike's o2 housing/downpipe that I made for his car. Just make sure it doesn't make your car run unintentional EGR.

Nice numbers Luke!

Care to comment on the wavy power curve from 6500 and up? what causes that? Fuel supply issues? MIVEC? Turbo running on the TSL? Is your engine a 4g64 or 4g63? 2.0L? 2.1L?

Very low 10s is all I think I could get out of it at our current weight maybe a high 9sec Pass if I really drove the crap out of it. I think If I were to try and launch hard enough to go 9s I would break rear axles.

Our other EVO ran 9.7@144 on about 700whp but it was about 300lbs lighter at the time.

Ever since i have done the 11:1 my curve has not been as smooth. The car feels fine and does not break up on the street. I am about 11.0 afr on these pulls which is a bit rich for E98 and I have just enough timing in. I do feel I have passed the oct limit of E98 with the 11:1. So I keep my timing as low as I can which does not help the curve. I am about 4deg at 5k and going to about 10.5deg at 9k

With all my other projects on the table I really want to keep this thing in one peace for awhile. I really want to focus on the White car next year since I failed so bad at it this year.

I am going to have it back on the dyno soon to see if I can smooth it out some.
