Full Race 40r @ 35 PSI

here is an update on my car
original thread of build an info here

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...8r-kansai.html

we dropped in the kelford 280 cams and will be trying a different housing.
will post back with new graphs and housing in place with 40 psi boost.

here is the graph and peak boost is 35psi on e75.

please also note that this is @ 5600 ft/above sea level Elevation... man what a killer.
at sea level this setup would spool 300-400rpm sooner easy..
Figures are in Kw and Nm
to translate 699 hp and 622 ft/lbs.

thanks for looking

Why does the power dip down so bad at around 6800....the particular back housing that you are using?

Lookin good. I think when we did my Dyno tune there was a few things wrong. So my GT4088 was putting down like 600 on 33psi. I then ran out of fuel also. This spring I will have everything and then get retuned. Should be right around where you are. I have an ETS GT4088

I still great spool as do you and it really pushes you back in the seat.

But I feel the HKS SSSQ was leaking and then we also found out that my AMS Aluminum UICP was flat in one spot and not round like a "pip" should look like. It was a good amount also.

With the running out of fuel thing (E85) and the leaking I feel that once it is resolved the car will show a huge increase in power just by replacing those parts.

Since the last dyno day I have also swapped in a new ETS 4" IC. Just need some funds for the 3" UICP and Tial BOV. Then we should be good to go.

Whoop-

Nice power and awesome spool for the altitude.

An 86 at sea level wont be near that until about 5500-5600. That would be a single scroll though, I would assume the twin would be 400 or so sooner than that. Even then though that goes away with the altitude difference.

ye spool is great and we hurt it a bit going to the kelford 280 deg kelfords.
with the GSC S2 it would come on song 200 rpm sooner..
TS choke up top by and altitude makes it worse..

Interesting thing i founnd out yesterday was that precision can make billet wheels for this turbo as well, now that would be nice to try.

Running twin intank Buschur pumps Hard wired..
-8 line feeding
AMS race rail
-6 line return
HKS adjustable fuel pressure reg.

and FIC blue 1650cc injectors.
running e75 and tunned for 11.5 AFR on spool up and 11.8 at redline.

We need to get more boost out of this up top then it will make mad power

This car is a street/autoX/and sees a bit of road racing..

no quarter miles here.. never been one for straight line stuff.

700whp and 622 wtq at 1 mile elevation is very good... but i am convinced your ethanol setup could use a larger turbine housing cant wait for you to try it out

it is not a long wait from full-race OR from garrett? We ship in ~4 weeks, garrett has these turbos on the shelf
