It more or less showed what yours did, no real changes +45whp.

a) stupid this wasn't posted in teh dyno section
b) extra silly for not including any other mod info, boost level, or tune info on either turbo setup
c) seriously, why would you buy a black for a car you plan on only running 24psi, pump gas? My BBK made 430whp on a dynojet pretty easily at 24psi, and has a lot more bottom-end. BBK or HTAGreen are a better choice for a setup like this.

+Eleventy billion.

There's no way a black will spool to 35+psi as quickly as it will spool to 20psi. Also, if we are talking about 3rd gear dyno pull at a reasonable starting rpm show me 3900 and I will eat my foot. Usually you're on point Aaron, and I'm sure you didn't mean anything by it, but.... really?

interesting.. Im seeing 25psi at about 3700-3800rpm on my stock VIII turbo with S2's....And you guys are saying the red or black will see similar boost levels at 3900 but giving me much more power and torque?

Maybe i should just go straight to the black??

edit: No one actually said it will give me large gains but i guess I would expect some pretty large gains from the stock VIII turbo with supporting fuel mods etc. Just wanted to clear that up

It depends on gearbox ratios but I thought it was like, for 30 psi in 3rd gear, something like this:

Green - 3800
Red - 4200
Black - 4500

And of course, each turbo would make 20 psi much earlier than 30.

Bite your tongue, sir. There are 115,000 members on this forum, and Bryan (GST) probably has more experience tuning all sorts of turbos on evos than 114990 of them, maybe more.

This would depend on the gear, and what you define as 'full spool' ....25psi? 35psi? 40psi? From my experience, a red spools 25psi around 3800-3900, and the black is almost certainly a few hundred rpm behind that.
