Should be in the low 120's no issue and maybe mid 120 if driven properly.. Its a full 100% daily driver.. I dont think anything has been removed but Ryan would know for sure..

Thanks again Mike for the great experience, price and service. You guys earn the kudos everytime we do business. And your right about the car. Full interior, spare tire...etc It's a daily driver at it's best. I haven't taken this car to the track like I used to take my others but im confident in my old school driving abilities. Low 120's... maybe high teens i would say is spot on.

I'd love to answer this...but Mike knows more about this than i do without a doubt. Ill say this...all the dyno "tests" done by alot of the vendors on this board GSC and Kelford were top 1 or 2 everytime. For all things...peak power...power that stays strong till redline etc. Search "the great cam test" and others. Good luck man.

Im curious why the fuel wouldnt allow it to run in the 120's.. Did you look at the power band?? it makes that peak power to redline and doesn't fall off.. If the car was running on water I could put it in the 120's no problem..LOL

Maybe not MID 120's after hearing its 100% full weight with jacks and all but 120+ for sure..

Tomei certainly makes a great cam at a BIG PRICE.. Id say Tomei or Jun on a IX might make more power but i havent tested them to know for sure off hand.. Paying over a 1000.00 for a set of cams with this setup isnt a great deal for a few extra HP..

Mike

That was one of the biggest difference in these cams Mike. At 7400rpms the car is still in the 420's where as the last cams put me at sub 400 at the same rpms. That plus peak power and the power coming through faster and holding longer. What else could you want?

ok thanks for the advise guys. No wonder iam only making 460 with bc cams , fpred, and e85 on the 8. Everybody make like 500whp similar to my setup plus gsc, kelford. Man , i should install the gsc or kelford to begin with. Probably have to spend another grand for parts and labor to be around 500whp. One question thou, do u have to install cam gear to go with the gsc s2?

Or maybe adding the new AMS sheet metal intake manifold for another 40 hp.

We have proven it to be very reliable when not revving the car too high.. I have spoken With GSC many times about this and while they recommend the Springs they are not necessary on every combination..

No cam gears needed.. We use stock cam gears on EVERY car we build..
