Whats the most hp & tq anyone has hit on a stock 8 or 9 turbo? Doesnt matter how many other mods just that you have a stock turbo. I know of one evo8 with 396whp stock 8 turbo/stock block/ 26psi, no nos, i believe it was a stock head to but not positive.

Yes but that thread has gotten way off track, most of the thread is talking about green's, red's, and black's. This is only about the Highest HP stock turbo evo, not how much everyone is making.

522 is more than my evo 8 with the red made. Unbelievable. Is the whole engine been rebuilt?

 

Yeah it is more a "boost assisted all motor" than a turbo motor. The specs are in there, it is far from stock.

 

The thing is that even evo8 guys are using evo9 turbos, so its kind of hard to see what an evo8 with an EVO 8 turbo can do, no meth just pump gas and maybe cams. I yet have to see results on one.

The highest Evo VIII turbo I know of personally is Turbojunkie...433/384 on a 2005 stock turbo on E85.

Yah, that's pretty high numbers. You have a link to his specs, dyno graph, etc? That may be the highest pump gas Evo8 out there lol.

 

396whp seems a lot for just having bolt ons, i would love to see the set up and dyno graphs.

 

Ill try to get some more info, when i went to Forced Induction Motorsports to get tuned he was there, i dont know him personally, all i know is he's from CT. The tuner said he believed it was the highest pump gas evo8 with only bolt-ons, and that they were doing some other mods and hoped to get over 400whp, with the stock block/ stock 8 turbo/ im pretty sure he said the head was stock to but im not 100% sure so dont hold me to that.

i thought there is a limit on the 8 turbo. 400whp for such a tiny turbo is amazing. That is like 500 hp to the crank.

 

I think 500whp is posible if not more on a 8 turbo, evo3 16g's have made up to 499whp. From what ive read evo8 turbos are more efficent after 25psi than a evo3 16g. It just seems people just through on a bigger turbo instead of the supporting mods for the stock turbo.
