HTa 35r AMS tuned!
HTa 35r AMS tuned!
Took my 2005 Evo 8 to AMS yesterday to get it tuned and I was really happy with the results!

My car was set at 15lbs when I installed my AMS HTA35r, and I used a base map from the AEM forums with about the same supporting mods. I tweeked the map some so it was driveable but I knew I needed a tune.
AMS bumped the boost to 25lbs and when I got my car back, it was a new beast!

As stated, crank the boost up. You can get even get greater numbers around 32psi on 93 octane. I run the same turbo and was trapping 125MPH last year @ 28psi. Looking for close to 130 @ 32 this year!
Some have push it much more then that on stock block. I'm making more on it and did with my hta 35r also but if your worried about the stock block then your at a good powerband. Just enjoy.
Congrats man.
Looks real good, especially for low boost! Ive seen some push it a lil further and be fine, but its all up to you (the owner) From what Ive read, youre right around/just before that danger zone, and IMHO was a good decision to keep it there, till you get the bottom end done...
enjoy it! turn it up later...

Car looks like it wants to keep going too. Making power past 7500...sweeeeet. Torque looks a little low..Any ideas why its in the 360's?

The torque is probably fine for pump gas. Remember AMS usually dynos in SAE mode too so the #'s are going to be a little lower than STD numbers (although I always like seeing uncorrected). Looks good dude I bet it mobs on the highway!
