He aslo mentioned my parts combo was a good setup. I will be willing to do some pulls on another dyno if someone is wants to pay for it LOL>

As fas as the TQ being flat he tuned it that way. Like I said I wanted a broad curve and slightly milder tune. Afr's up top are 10.9 so its typically on the safer side.

I've see Junior tune evo 9's with basic bolt ons and no cams and he was able to make 360-380. Now Eric went with GSC S2 cams and I think 880's injectors. 25-26psi on pump isn't crazy, but I think it comes down to Eric bringing Junior a great combo of parts to tune.

The Shop, JuniorTune, and Eric FTW!
Well if you both knew someone would question it...then I'm obviously correct to wonder. And in no way am i questioning the validity of the power....im more shocked than anything. All the kudos in the world to what looks to be one of the strongest stock turbo Evo's around....it's just not the norm. My main thought is where the power actually drops off....after 7k rpm's. Thats not good..that remarkable. I've never seen a stock turbo hold any decent amount of power after 6200/6500 because the turbo just can't do it...it's efficiency goes to crap in higher rpms.

As far as the cams go trust me i know the GSC S2's are the way to go. I myself switched from BC 272's to the GSC's and saw 20whp peak improvement. However that was with my FP Red...I've never seen these cams take a stock turbo car from 360-380 to 415. Thats anywhere from 45-65whp for cams....again thats not good thats astonishing. I've definitely heard of Junior and "The Shop" before so they are reputable...and again i don't question the validity of what people post up......im just in shock. I would LOVE to see what your car would do with an FP Red or Black. Good luck man

From what I understand and working part-time at The Shop and learning from Junior it seems the evo 9 on stock turbo with the correct supporting mods can make 400+hp with upgraded injectors. Eric is person who worries alot about everything this is the perfect amount of HP for him now. I would love to see him upgrade the turbo to a HTA Green, BBK Full, Red, or Black but he likes instant spool so HTA Green or BBK full will be the only way he goes. Can't wait to see what he can do with this car in the 1320

on the stock gearbox it will be difficult not bc of power but bc of gearing, unless he revs it way over 8000rpm in 4th...

Hey Merlin, when he was doing some pulls I myself was like when the f*ck is the turbo gonna fall on its face? Its wasn't until the last two graphs did I see the power start to fall off (after 6750 I remeber on one of the pulls). Well I am on stock clutch and I never really 1320 the car but I might head down to E-town on the 24th for some times. I will keep it posted...

Good luck man. If my stock turbo would have produced over 400whp and held boost past 7k...i would have stayed with it. Bring back some good times.

Please go to the track and get some trap speeds! 400+ on a stock turbo seems high for 93oct. The traps will back the graph up more.

All things aside, awesome #'s!

24th is a set date! I never really 1320 the car so it shall be interesting. As long as I have a decent launch on the stock clutch I hope it goes like it shows.

Hey Eric, check out my dyno thread here. I ran this weekend with my stock clutch! There might be some helpful info in there for your first time at the strip. I hope it goes well and report back ASAP!

From doing my own research I found that Cossie has not revised there cams since they came out. As far as Kelfords there definately not a bad choice. Gsc constantly revises there cams and if I am not mistaken these are the 3rd revision. Idle is smooth but lopey enough to hear them. Take in account I have mivec so its easier to smooth out the idle.

Not high...VERY high. All cars are different though...his car might have taken really well to the mods. Good luck to him...
