Good job man on that break in procedure

Taking that 415 run it would be 345.8 with a 1.0 CF which is lower then a mustang reading.

How would this compare to a mustang dyno??

Nice job
A mustang would read somewhere around 377hp

With his power band if Eric gets a good launch 1.7 60ft and clean shifts he should hit 120 but he will have to shift into 5th. So I wouldn't put too much into his trap speeds since he is running 6speed tranny.....shifting from 4th to 5th is a killer just ask PeteyTurbo

I do need him to straighten out some quirks though. Big thanks to The Shop, Junior, and Mike@AWD for the great price in parts. This is a Dyno Dynamics with a 1.2 CF! Comments welcomed...

I think you guys forget that tuning is progressive and what is today possible was thought of as impossible not long ago on just the motor front alone, let alone what kind of timing and boost these engines can take in tuning.

look at how steady the torque is too, imagine e85 :0

I'm pretty sure he mentioned it before but a Dyno Dynamics set at 1.2CF will read almost identical to a dynojet uncorrected. It has been proven before. The Shop's owner has occationally sent some of his customers to a local dynojet dyno and the HP is almost identical reading.

It's a damn shame you have been lied to but I want you to contact all The Shop and Junior Tuned cars on the forum who have had a chance to run there cars at the track. All the cars run true.

But all said and done you don't have to believe the dyno #'s anyone who is in the know about The Shop and Junior Tune knows that the number are 100% accurate. The end result is the customer is happy with the numbers and that's what counts. This is not a DG(cough) dyno tune.

I never saw any proven cars at the track i saw kouzman run a 11.6 not impressed with his track times ..I heard nothing but good things about jr that he's a great tuner but never had a chance to go for a ride in a tuned car from him yet..

I just hate that stupid dyno you can change so many factors on it like a magician.I would love to see this car just do one pull on a d..j. just to see how accurate their dyno is..

So Freddy, Wiznaz, KBoarder, The Race Sti, Mike 1023 number aint accurate? Oh and I think Kouzman's trap speeds are pretty impressive. I agree you may not like the Dyno Dynamic but is it that hard to understand that the Op's car is a beast because of a skilled tuner? The shop always uses 1.2CF which reads almost identical to DJ.

The fact that you use ET to understand power, tells me that you are not a drag racing follower...

My car since you mentioned me has ran 11.3s @ 132 @ 1.9 60fts....
132 mph on a 3370 lbs car on pump on stock head, IM and TB... and my sucky driving...

Even last Wednesday we went to the track again to break in my new gearbox and ran again 11.4 @ 131.5 @ 27-28psi @ ~3360 lbs on pump again on a 1.8 60ft... The car trapped 101.4 mph on the 1/8....

Now lets talk dyno numbers...

TSA Dyno Wars back in January... Note that my car when it was tuned at THE SHOP made 562 awhp @ 1.2cf @ 28psi

At TSA Dyno wars the car made two back to back passes at 549 awhp @ 28psi running 10:1 afrs or richer!!! We had 25 degrees out that day and the car i guess was overcorrecting for the cold...

My friend Jimmy black EVO X GSR with just drop-in filter, uicp, test pipe and tune. At the SHOP he made 350.4awhp on their DD at 1.2 cf on pump at around 25psi i think. At the TSA dynowars he made 349, 347 and another 347 awhp... The car runs at the track 12.3 @ 112 all day long no matter what...

Do you know what a 132 mph trap on a bad day with a bad gearbox, or the 101+ on the 1/8 mile is in terms of power on a ful weight car? I will not tell you... Ask....

Hey I am all about the truth! I will tell you what, if I or anybody else can get a shop to let me do some pulls for a cheap cost I will do them to satisfy others questions. Personally I really don't think the shop would do something of that nature at least on my car. The reason being I stated I wanted a safer tune due to the possibilities of me getting involved in some hdpe events this summer. Jr. stated he would pull some timing to keep a broader tq curve to accomodate me as well as keep the AFR's on the richer side. That same tune I requested is what I got by the graphs I posted. I don't car about numbers is what I am stating and I would assume they got that same impression. What I do know is the car pulls like a mule on steroids! The tune feels strong regardless and remember the truth always prevails.

Oh by the way I suppose this is not true? Similiar mods no cams different tuner...
