can you weigh a 90 degree elbow in 1.25 and in 1.5?

I'm curious how much lighter per bend they are. Will you sell them? I will need enough for my manifold when the 7670 or the 7064's become available And...after I get married

Jeff got the car fired up this morning and was going to dyno tune it today, but the Fuelab fuel pressure regulator I have on the car just can't handle all the flow from the new fuel system... Going to get a new fuel pressure regulator on the car and hit the dyno soon...

New fuel pressure regulator is on the way, and EVO will be ready by the weekend... I think the weather may be a factor though, looking like rain so the event maybe postponed...

i would wire up the second pump to come on under boost or you will have a tank full of really hot gas if you drive it for long distances. what regulator are you going to? weldon?

Weldon A2040 - I would opt for a cooler rather than having a second pump activate under boost, never liked those setups...

yeah, im going to be running 2 044's with a surge tank and dont like the idea of the 2nd pump failing to activate either. on my sti i had a single 044 and after a couple hours on the freeway the pump would start screaming and i would have to stop and pump a few gallons of cool gas in the tank to shut it up so i dont like the idea of running 2 full time. i wanted to run both full time but off a pwm map at low duty cycle under cruise, but i heard the 044's do not like that at all.

I'm surprised you where having issues in your STI - I've been running an external surge tank with an external 044 on my STI for years now and it's been flawless... We did pay a lot of attention on how/where we ran the fuel lines and added heat shield to the lines in areas that heat was potentially an issue...

I'll be monitoring the temps and if they become an issue, I'll install an external fuel cooler... I don't want to do it unless necessary because it's just something else to leak/fail...

mine was just mounted in tank. i think a surge tank would help a bit. it really only happened after 4 hours strait running down the freeway on hot days.

Definitely changing up your setup will help - I have taken long, and very spirited trips in the STI and never had an issue...

I'm seeing cloudy with a 20% chance of precip. Your car is still AWD right?

Wise guy - my EVO is not one of those 'street cars' that gets put away for the winter, rain or anything but a 1/4 run a couple times a year

The event has a rain date and they may postpone it if there's a likely chance of rain - Ira, Jonathan and I are ready to go if it's not canceled - only change will be if Keri goes into labor...

Haha! I can't think of a faster way to get her to the hospital...hell, that car could probably induce labor!

Some comparison results - both on same boost level, low 30's - Original setup is the dotted lines, new mods solid lines...

There's no compressor left in the 40R - but we are ready now for the BW 9180 that's on the way Full-Race Mid-Size Runner Manifold, ID 2200cc injectors, Dual Bosch 044's at 50 psi base pressure and 76% injector duty cycle
