this stuff was installed long ago, just did brakes. ill be chillin with you to do the ic though, battery reroute/gauge setups. lookin good man.

yea, meth is not really a "safe" thing. stick with e85 if you can.

im not sure who has the lowest reading dyno, but this does read lower than dynojets and some mustangs. it's just a tuning tool really.

Well, my car makes about 650 whp on my dyno and Buschurs dyno.

Here is what it runs

Please show me a dyno dynamics Evo that makes similar power and runs near the same as ours. Im interested to see what you come up with.

Thanks

Never said what dyno is best please stop putting words in my mouth. I stated the proff is on the track. A dyno is only a tool for tuning not exact numbers.

Well, they do read pretty low, I used an one identical for years. Here's some reference numbers for you, man.
A stock VIII makes 205whp.
My stock IX made 215whp.
My stock X made 222whp.

My VIII needed a full exhaust, a Mitsu titanium 10.5 turbo, 272 cams, cam gears, pump, and tune to make 305whp on a DD. But it ran 12.3 at almost 113mph on that power in summer heat. A friend with an old VIII on a 30R went mid 11s and trapped 122mph on 392whp.

Just an FYI on the comparison.

To the OP, I would suspect the top end power fall off is due to the fact the car is an VIII and has no Mivec. Can gears will fix that top end at the expense of a little spool. If you already have cam gears, retard the intake one a little more.

I don't have came gears just cams. What are good cam gears to go with? I am running comp 272 cams I/E.

Just about any reputable ones will work.
Just make sure your installer and tuner are familiar with that brand, because some of the early ones were set for DSMs and were off a tooth.

For 272s, I found -3 intake/ -2 exhaust to make the best power up top with much less taper than you are experiencing now. Good luck.

I was looking and the HKS are desined around the Early DSMs so I might end up with AEM, But I will wait until I get more stuff to get tuned with before installing them because the dyno is 500 more. I will wait till I upgrade the Turbo and injectors first then add the cam gears with it and timing belt.

Here is the reply from the shop I goto since its LOCAL said about their dyno.

" Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you.
Anyways, our dyno is calibrated as set from factory with zero correction factor. It reads ~12% lower than a dynojet, ~15% lower than dyna pack and ~18% lower than a dynomite dyno. "

I have no clue personaly what all this means but for the Shops that keep cring beucause they swear there dyno is the best when I never said that my shop was you read this and leave it at that. This is not a "Who's dyno is better thread" so if you want to have a argument on that start your own thread. No one here can say theirs is lower then everyones because I gureentee you have not been to every other shops dyno room/facility and tested it. STM you have a fast *** and nice car and can tune great you have proven that so stop coming in here and acting childish please. Why post a vid of your car with pulling laundry? Is it for self satisfaction?
