Retuning a totally stock VIII

I did some searching but couldn't find what I was looking for. I was reading through the "how to tune an EVO" thread (very informative, by the way) and was wondering if anyone had re-tuned a fully stock car to see how much Mitsu left on the table. Just curious.

I'm trying to sell my e46 and get back into the world of the 4G63. I had a 95 TSi AWD for about 5 years and I've missed it since I sold it. Looking at a VIII. I'd plan on investing in the logging/tuning hardware and would want to try my hand at squeezing what I could out of the car stock before I do some bolt-ons.

Thanks!

Brady

check out this thread it chronicles a stock car going to a highly modified 705 whp car. the very beginning of the thread is essentially a stock car with a tune so you can see what gains are to be had (if you are a talented tuner)

My bone stock 03 did 264/264 with just a tune. This was on a dynojet and back in 04 I believe.

That's what I was looking for. Did you tune it?

Tuning a completely stock EVO can give you +10-20HP/TQ. If you raise the boost and tune it, you can see +20-30HP/TQ.
