Highly agreed.

Was just mentioning there was different dyno settings and correction factors.

What? That sounds like some type of attack.

I dont have any intentions of changing it. I was just saying there IS DIFFERENT DYNO SETTINGS AND CORRECTION FACTORS.

I think the most important thing to see on these road dyno pulls is the weight and correction factor being used to determine power. Anyone can inflate their numbers by adding a ton of weight and not displaying the figure or using a higher correction factor.

I think there should be NO correction factors or different dyno settings. There shouldnt even be SAE correction.

There should just be ONE, uncorrected dyno setting. And the chart should have the weights used for car and occupants. The temp at the time should be stated (ie if its really really cold or really really hot)

At the moment, he only has two dyno setting available. "Default" and "HBSpeed"

Its under the "options".

very true, if the screenshots could automatically incorporate these settings it would make everyone feel more confident that nobody is purposely trying to inflate numbers for their ego or business for that matter.

I'll email Brad about this thread and make sure he's getting this good feedback.

I would love to see every dyno have a set configuration, real or virtual. But unfortunately we live in a world with variables. So to keep the playing field as level and controlled as possible, i would just ask to stick to the rules and post the config data - this is not pointed to anyone specifically.

Thanks all

Im working on figuring out where to post the dyno stats for each run shown. Im thinking at the top right corner if I can figure out how to do that. Or it may be next to HP/TQ in the title. Im working on this guys and I also am working on letting users specify what columns to look in for certain field so that it will work with AP or whatever other logs are out there.

Just figured I would update you all.

Thanks,

Brad

Any plans for just ONE type of dyno setting, with no correction?
