SO...busy busy busy here in camp (3rd night of working till past 8 but its what it takes).

Funny thing about this is my Sim showed this power, I totally didnt believe it, ran it again in front of Mike and told him no way and then Voila! there it is. I cant be happier to be wrong though.

When we made the first pull on WG which 22psi creeping 24 or so and I saw 582/452 first thing I thought was wow that looks like my powerband. He is on E85 and I am normally on pump when I do that but still. We got the car warmed up and backed it up with a 607/455 when it creeped to 25 out the top. Started dialing the AFR a little and got the Tru-boost set and put down some better looking boost plots.

The tune was literally unchanged from the 562/506 exception of me adding fuel in to begin with to make sure we were covered since I knew there was going to be increased airflow. While I dont show logs or maps on this level of build, I will say I added 9% global fuel under boost and the AFRs were almost spot on.

Since today is about white Mitsus, I am going to go back to them....have 2 white Evo X's done, a white 2G, and 2 white 8s.

Enjoy

Aaron

I saw one other question I forgot to answer, so I had to come back in.

The cams are still not readily available so there is no pricing until I know how many we have to sell. Once I have some more details I will be able to see what we can do.

No one else really seems to want to. DSMs are quick, lightweight, inexpensive platforms to build into racecars. Alot of my Evo customers have DSM racecars or are in the process of building them

Speaking of which, I tried calling you today to talk about my DSM tranmission woes. I need to figure out which direction to go, and make a move asap!

Yeah... until you break the transmission. Then you're coming out of a couple grand.

I know I'm currently sitting around 91% IDC at 48psi base pressure on FIC 1450's and 36psi of boost.

Post that final graph too!!
Done working outside, some more time to post.

IDCs with 43.5psi base (stock FPR) was 85% at 8350rpm and 28.5psi in the log. At peak boost it was still 78%.

Holding 27out the top. It is a bit lazy out the top and not 100% sure why. May just be relative to airflow with the large motor, ported head, and large cams. We may be trying to put on an external 38mm!

Job well done doing your homework before the build. The numbers are well rewarding! I've been tinkering with the idea of swapping my M2s out for something more up to date. I'm afraid I can't use your new prototypes with my stock head / piston clearance, I'll have to settle for something more friendly. I'd love to pick up gains like that without sacrificing any spool!
