Yeah the 1Gs were considerably lighter. 2Gs are tanks with spoilers though. The unibody is heavy as hell, yet those things still got A-pillar rattles like crazy. The doors are ridiculous. I was think about that today as the EVO doors are pretty light and you can tell when you close them. Even with 4 of them, I bet they are still lighter then the two 2G doors though.

 

Hey Mikey this that must feel like a animal on the street I can only imagine when you put the housing and wastegate its gonna be nasty when you hold so the extra boost till redline..

Ya I only got to drive it for a day till I left for vacation but it felt nice to spin all the way through 3rd! I need much larger wheels/tires.

Mikey: Are there any pics of your remote gated housing yet which you would be willing to share with us?

 

I guess that I am a litle confused. Will you be modding the turbine housing, the O2 housing or both?

 

It is a turbine housing modification and I'm not sure if R/TErnie has finished it yet or not... I really hope he had time to finish it over the weekend...

I may be putting a 38 or 44mm gate on the 02 housing dump tube however, I'm not 100% sure yet what I'm going to do with that.

Mikey not sure if its been addressed but how much are these ER GSC cams and how much of the incredible power you gained can be attributed to the higher compression pistons you're using?

 

so we still on wait for the housing i hope it does some damage i would be highly interested in one for sure once yours is done and tested
