Like this....."you're my girlfriend, not my wife, so I'm going to do what I want!"

Depending on what the goals are, the FULL can be superior to the B anyway. The gf might even enjoy the torque and acceleration over dyno #'s and track times.

You could try - "you're my wife, not my girlfriend, so I'm going to do what I want!" but it might not go over real well.

Well I just bought the BBK-FULL and my wife doesn't even know yet She'll find out I guess when it arrives on my doorstep next week. Nevertheless, the car is paid for, has almost 90K miles on it, and the stock turbo is dying so therefore it is a required deed.

Next year the same thing will happen when a 4G63 shortblock arrives on my doorstep.

Fortunately, my wife is not the deciding factor when it comes to my toys. I’ve been married for 16 years and my wife doesn’t know what I spend on the car. However, if one day she decides to ask how much, my answer will be “cheaper than a blond”

Haha. Yeah, that wouldn't work for me for sure. Obviously I get to spend money on toys for the car, but she still gets a say on sizeable expenditures. That's how I ensure that I get a say when she decides she needs new clothes or other sometimes very expensive girly things. Damn 21st century where women have equal rights! J/K

hahaha, let's see.... $800 for a new FMIC, $1800 for a turbo, $400 for bigger injectors... yeah, even I can't find a creative enough idea to explain something like that to my wife.

you guys are much braver than I.

I'll give it a shot and let you guys know how it turns out!! Jk she spends money on all kinds of worthless crap. A bbk b is not worthless or crap in any way shape or form so I'll make it happen!!
