My experience with CBRD was second to none. I didnt expect to see what Ive seen.
This shop reminded me of a hospital but for cars... yes it is THAT clean. This place is
absolutely amazing. Chad and the rest of his workers there were all very friendly and great
people to be around. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Personally I dont think
I could have had a better experience.
Kreionic is a badass tuner and an awesome guy to talk to and have a conversation with. Extremely
friendly guy and very easy to get along with! I am more then happy with his results and his tuning
skills are awesome. He upped my road tune by a good 90WHP and 30WTQ and I have literally did
50-60 pulls to get my road tune where it was, so it wasnt a half ***'ed tune by any means!
The following numbers were achieved on a 97F day with 60% humidity. The weather was not in our
favor to say the least, and my perrin FMIC was not happy! I realize my cars not making the power it
should be at 39PSI, and the dyno WCF showed 551hp/486tq which is still only barely making it past
600 on a dynojet. This is not acceptable at 39PSI of boost, so the FMIC has to go! I will replace the
perrin FMIC with a Buschur Race FMIC & Buschur Lower piping.
The first 2 pulls we did on the dyno were my road tune. The first pulls made
All pulls done in 3rd gear. This is a true reading Mustang dyno.
#1 433/402 @ 33psi
#2 435/431 @33psi
Next we decided to start changing the timing & a/f. Charlie talked me through everything as he was doing
it which was cool. I watched the car from pull to pull make 20whp here and 20whp there, and kept going
until we slowly but safely stopped at 522/460 at 39psi. This dyno is definitely one of the true heartbreaker
mustangs and weather was certainly not on our side.
We ended up going from 13-14* uptop which was my road tune to 18* uptop. To say the least the car pulls until
you lift.. The FP Black is a quick spooling beast and continues to pull hard until redline.
Below is a video of the last pull which made 520/460
Heres the Graph and some pictures to show WCF and etc.

I think the cars down about 50-70whp from what it should be. My road tune normally gives 1* at peak, while on the dyno it was pulling till -1*, which I know was killing power and I am almost certain it is due to the FMIC not doing its job properly.

Talk to Buschur about the FMIC. He was wanting others using the Perrin FMIC to do logs on what the temp increase was from pull to pull. You definitely should talk to him and maybe invest in a Buschur race FMIC.
^^ its on E85. Is this on the stock ECU?
Congrats man. I wouldn't be too down on your numbers because I know that dyno reads low. But I agree, after looking at all your mods, the perrin piece is a possible bottleneck but I don't know the specs on that intercooler.

Not yet. I will do that tomorrow if the rain goes away. But I logged my road tune with virtual dyno at 33-34psi and it showed 586/540 and that same tune straight to cbrd only did 435/431 so i suspect its close to 700 on that program.. I will find out as soon as weather clears up and post that in here as well.
Nice graph and I agree about it being down on power.
What was your air intake temps????From this it will determine if it's your intercooler or something else.
This power should have been achieved at 35psi with all your supporting mods you have..

Didnt log ait cause the car didnt have an air temp post IC. Put it this way first 2 pulls back to back no changes between runs it lost 30 ft-lbs. Its been proved the perrin ic isnt the greatest ic out. Some of the data from the log is in the first post. boost did drop off up top bad to 33
tscompusa,
Glad your happy with how it turned out. We all agree theres a bottleneck in there. Im glad to see your swapping the perrin out for a garrett core

im still on the stock compressor pipe that comes from mitsu also.. the black elbow that comes off the turbo compressor outlet which goes to 1.5"? that has got to be screwing flow as well.
The Perrin FMIC specs are as follows: 25" x 11.75" x 3.5" ------ im being told it is the endtanks on the intercooler that are super restrictive.
