Why is my car setup so laggy




why is my setup so laggy?

mods

ets equal length 6235 turbo kit .82 turbine housing=fs635

magnus v5

milspec ported throttle body

ported head with oversize valves

fp4r cams

ets 4.5 inch intercooler with 2.5 inch pipes

4bar map sensor

grimspeed ebc

The manifold doesn't but that a bit laggy sometimes it also depends on how they load up the dyno to read it can cause this..IS this a 8 or 9??

journal bearing precisions are laggy, put it in a bigger housing and its uber laggy.

ball bearing garrett center section 6262 compressor wheel. garrett gt35r turbine wheel.

post more info like built motor, what it was tuned with, etc.

Look at kouzmans graph. Hes on the same turbo, less power mods, less boost and more laggy.

its a drop in piston and rod motor. tuned on the stock ecu.

i bet that lag will be much milder with a 2.3 stroker kit but nevertheless .82 a/r will be laggy

Im going to chalk it up to the turbo. I had the same issue on my sti. Precision turbo was horribly laggy. Swapped to a real gt35r and problem solved. Changed nothing else.
