the stock zr1 tires are much better than my current streets. good tread but they are nothing special.

i too have decided on the 6262. i feel like you might as well go 2.4 6262 and call it a day. trans/tcase and its a wrap. if you need more power up the boost, if you need more power run e85, if you need more power up the boost again, if you need more power get a magnus v5 and really end it once and for all. well prepared 6262 > fp black. i wonder if you get the 4.11 final drive what is the top speed?

 

Iirc correctly the 4.11s top speed is something crazy like 209mph

 

It also depends what tire size, rpm shift points, etc...

 

given the right tires, etc i wonder if its worth the extra 935 from shep to go to 4.11 what is the downside?

Its good for stroker motors that cant rev out at the track, top out at 160, etc...

One downside i would know of is if you dont have enough TQ your not gonna be able to turn the gears.

 

I also have a JMS built 2.0 on my 98 Eclipse spyder converted to AWD. I ran out of fuel on the 6262 T4 .68 housing. It is a great turbo. I run it on E85. right now I am at 19 psi until I install the new fuel pump....
