FP Red vs FP Black E85

Simple turbo swap from an FP Red to an FP Black. Cleaned up tune, and gave more power and equal spool in process.
Normally an fp black will be about 150-200RPM laggier then Red! (Red tune suffered from seasonal weather changes)

E85 - Both turbos at 34psi comparison. (see 2nd graph)

BR 2.0
BR stage 3 head
BR double pumper
Cosworth M2
PTE 1200cc
PPI extreme ported exhaust manifold
PPI ported intake manifold
ARP L19
Perrin FMIC
ETS upper/lower ic piping
APS twin vent
Sparktech non cdi
AMS Rail
Works TB
Works cast o2
Works downpipe
Works testpipe

Injectors are maxed out and the perrin front mount is bottlenecking setup.

Colder weather outside and Lim is running more wastegate duty cycle 6000rpm and above for 36psi.

New numbers: 615/453 @ 36psi

torque is lower because of 3 port manipulation.
I also cleaned up AFR alittle so it doesn't richen up
towards the end like it shows in this graph.

Thats looking good. What fuel and boost? I guess that will answer my question as to why your running out of inj with that double pumper.

34psi and e85. its showing 99% duty cycle in the logs. Evoscan goes higher then 100%,so they arent maxed yet (I believe 120%), but i dont really like running any injectors that high.

Hopefully owner will come in and explain his experience with the car. he said it has quite a bit more response/torque downlow now.

what changes were made in the tune to help the downlow, if you don't mind disclosing.

Yeah hes gonna need those ID2000 or something similar but thats not cheap. Looks good and your rates are reasonable. Was this done remotely or a road tune?

I wish I could just answer this with a simple answer, but i cant.

It was a remote custom road tune.

To me personally, there is absolutely no gains if you ship me your car and I tune it in person or remotely, and heres why:

When I tune cars, all I care about is the numbers the car spits out, granted the base map is safe for the specific vehicle. I take the data, and i make changes no differently then I would in person.

So one only needs to see datalogs and have access to the maps in question and you can get the same quality tune remotely as in person.

Sometimes there are major advantages to hearing the tone of the engine, but if you know what you're doing and have great base maps chances are you will never experience any issues that will require the need to hear the audible side of tuning on an already well prepped car.

Hopefully he can get by with some FIC 1450's if not, then i guess like you said id2000 or fic2150 (both bosch high impendence)

Thanks bro. Hopefully the Perrin doesn't strangle the setup once we put the turbo to work as it did on my car.

Very deceiving back to back. This will have the uneducated readers seeing no point in buying the red and opt for the black.

the red spools ~250 rpm faster than the black and is much more responsive for a street car. something you feel every time you pull away from a light.

read between the line here. the RED tune was not optimized by any means.

yes i could get the red to spool much quicker then a black no argument here. ill take the additional 50whp+ over the red though for 200-400rpm more lag.

For what this person uses his car for, uptop is more important then downlow.

Key here is hes making 500whp before 6k rpm.
