If you were to optimize WG preload and lean spoolup....I think that there is no way that a Black with its larger comp wheel is gonna have better spoolup and transient response than a 64mm Red. Just my O2.

the red was tuned by someone else.. i tuned the black. i guarantee the red would outspool the black yes.. by atleast 200rpm. transient response is much different also compared to black. the black is the better turbo of the two though in my opinion.

I agree with you that the Black is way better. A Black with one of your optimized tunes should spool about as well as a red with an average tune and easily yield 40-50 WHP more up top. I definitely am not arguing. The Black is the better choice. Easy..
