very nice numbers..... i have a fp red on a stock block also makeing 486 hp and 386 of torque on e 85 magnus intake 1100 fic injectors 255 walbro fuel pump 272 cams, with springs and retainers.. o2 housing, works down pipe and full exhaust. with test pip instead of cat... ported out exhaust manifold... speed density also arp rod bolts ...... and a little bit more stuff.... english racing tuned...... it seems like if you keep the torque down below 400 you should be fine on a stock block..........

Wish we had e85 in town.
I'd almost consider going to Tampa or Miami and filling a 50g drum!

That was not me you met. I couldn't attend last weekend. I usually autocross a red F-Prepared TR6, but I do plan to bring the EVO out soon. Yes, we should meet up. I should be at the March 6th GCAC event. I'll watch for you.

That is a beautiful curve... I normally wouldn't think a black would be a good choice for stock block 93 octane, but that looks brilliant. The torque curve is fantastic, tons of room under the curve.

give or take id say the red should spool up about 150-200rpm sooner then the fp black.

23psi by 4100rpm
25psi by 4300rpm

Seems pretty decent to me.. what other turbo did you have in mind? The Fp black becomes alive right around 29psi if you can hold it uptop and have good supporting mods for it.
You stated exactly why it doesnt make sense , it comes alive at 29 ... Which you didnt reach
You can achieve similar numbers with smaller turbos from FP as well as other manufactures and have the response this turbo does not supply in the first two gears.
Its my own opinion dont take offense , just seems rather pointless on a stock block unless your a drag racer.

EDIT;

The curve looks amazing and a smaller turbo would not yield better results. If the owner ever builds the motor and runs e85 or methanol injection, then he will easily be 550+ whp. Seems like a great turbo choice to me.

Great tuning Tom!
You missread my post i clearly stated on the stock block with pump gas.
