This could also be a good time to fool around with some gear/speed dependent boost control. I know you're against it but sounds like you need it
Thats what Mellon ended up doing i believe once he would just blow the tires off at the track.

I want to tune it and finish a little more testing before the street videos. It's close on the tune now, I made a few tweaks on the road. I want to dyno it and see what our fab'd intake did and then try the new header. Then the videos will start. Speaking of which, I took some yesterday with my iPhone and then downloaded a video app for the phone. I made my first "real" video last night, came out pretty good. It's of Joe Gilk's Conquest we just finished. Check it out under "meanmitsu" on Youtube.

Tires, yes it seems I don't have enough but as hard as it's spinning it will take a he'll of a tire to get it under control. The RE01's aren't junk.

I may use these on the Eclipse for a rain tire for road racing and go to something else on the Bish. No way in he'll will I use a parts-breaking-drag radial and I don't want to go back to an 18" wheel so the best drag radial is put of the question, the MT.

Wow!!! That is a mk3 correct? That thing is sick. How much PSI is it running to hit those TQ numbers and what is he planning to do with the car?

Thats insane! I can't even imagine my evo blowing the tires off like that. Have you considered something like an rx7 wheel to get more sidewall meat? I don't even know if that would help with this much power.

Yes, my channel.

The car with the old set up (Joe's Conquest) ran low 10's. I'd guess it should run at least low 9's now.

No, it's the torque multiplication from the torque converter.
