Thanks for posting - I have always been interested in this turbo as its much cheaper than a green and may be great for street use.
Also, I have read the comp cams make more power with gears set non-stock. Very impressive nonetheless. Too bad we old have 91 oct here.

I tuned the ECU controlled boost for each gear to follow the timing curve I created for 3rd gear by adjusting the boost levels while keep engine knock at bay. This car actually puts down 362whp in 2nd gear at 29psi and its neck whipping!

I have thought about cam gears some, but I am always worried about them falling apart. I almost don't mind not getting the most out of the cams with the security knowing the won't fall apart.
I drive this car a lot on the street, in fact in 4+ years owning it I have not raced it. I might be doing so this year though =)
I still don't think I have enough injector for E85. Jamie, is it easy enough for you to find out where my IDC% is at currently?

Unfortunately no. The vehicles I have tuned with them were so long ago that it would take me forever to dig through the datalogs to find anything for you. We do have a few customers lined up this spring for tuning sessions that will be running ETS FMIC's so I will try and remember to get some data for ya

Nice results Jamie, The FP White seems to be a nice turbo, sometimes overlloked. How much power or % above an Evo 8 10.5 Turbo do you think the White can give on a given setup?
Thanks,
Ricardo

I think that is hard to say truthfully. There have been proven results from going from an VIII to a IX turbo and this is a IX based turbo and said to be 10% more airflow over the IX, so I would safely say this is a 47 pd per/min turbo.

It's the exact same as upgrading to a stock Evo IX turbo. You just need the Evo IX install kit for the Evo 8.

It's a pretty cool little turbo, especially if you run it with E85. A lot of bang for the buck.
