The FPwhite is a HTA68 mated to the stock turbo backside.

exactly, I spoke to robert personally about my situation when I was needing a rebuild. He said that the white could be done for 675, or the 71 for 600. My exhaust wheel was clipped on my white. Turbojunkie, is your exhaust wheel clipped/modified? They are most likely trying to phase the white out in favor of the comparable 71hta.

What does the equate to flow-wise? By "backside" are you referring to the hotside?

With all of the options available on the MAP portal, the EF2 would be similarly priced as the 73HTA Green.

How can I take a look at the 71HTA if it is not listed on the Force Performance portal? It looks like it could be a great in-between for me and my goals.

Look under turbo upgrades, the 71 is there. It's 700 with no core -100 core . I bet you will find fp reluctant to do another white.

You are referring to the sheer excitement of driving that torque provides. I totally understand your position. More and more you see guys opting to get rid of their T3 set ups in favor of a stock-framed turbo.

I found the information hidden on the FP portal. Since I have an VIII, I did some price comparisons on buying a used IX turbo, shipping to FP, charges for studs and threads that need to be repaired, possible new housing, porting, and the 25PSI wastegate actuator and it would be easier if I just bought a 73HTA Green brand new.
