Stock Block, FP Red, bolt ons Rnd 2
not quite sure which way I'm going to go next year, definitely going to consider building the bottom end (the stock block has held up exceptionally well for me to date)
I've got a little time so until then I'll be doing some research etc.
Thanks man...
They sure are, I probably would have gone back out and tried to better my time but we had multiple rain delays and the track became compromised (if you look closely you can see how closely I was passing the cones...the car was pulling all over the track)

Thanks man...you're not going to be disappointed at all, I've driven in cars with both green and black, but I personally think the red is the best option for the street...a nice balance between spool/power.
Thanks a lot Sean, appreciate it
I know there's more left in it as it stands, but I won't be able to hit the track again until early January...we may be able to setup an unofficial meet at Vernam Field though, we'll see.

I was considering it for a little while, but I think I'm going to build the block and stick with the red for a little longer.
I definitely know there's more left in it...and also I think for our roads the black may take away a little of that stop and go fun factor.
A friend of mine has a black on his stock 2.0, so once I'm done tuning it I'll have a much better comparison.

Honestly I have no idea, I've read about people that have destroyed these boxes with 450hp, and others that have close to 600hp and are still going strong...I guess each car is different and it all depends on the setup...early hard hitting tq like a green or a bigger style turbo that hits more linear.

If mine ever goes I'll call Shep and get a built unit with taller gears/ Taller gears in the 6th speed with 500WHP would be a KILLER combo and add serious topend and trap speed.

It's all in how you drive. Like andy driviline you can run as much HP as you want through it. The issue is torque. If you had 300 FPs and 1000 WHP you'd be fin all day long. Torque breaks these and the shock of a launch is where they break.

I was considering doing a 5spd swap, but for now it a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" vibe for me.
