With this method i was able to achieve just shy of half of the eyelet worth of preload.
My car still pushing wg open at half eyelid I am now a full eyelid and now its like woah. I thought I was at 27 psi automatically went to 35 psi. I did have to cut 3 more threads off and basically thread the flat spot to give me what I needed, logs are to Tom and hopefully he can get me some info about it.

Did you crack 500whp yet?
And when are you seeing 30 PSI im guessing the difference in spool Between the 3,4 is minimal

I hit 36 lbs by accident and I think the mbc is still up to high for the tune I have currently but I made close to it for what Tom said. I hit 36 lbs at about 4600 or so I will have to double check. Mind you I am still tweeking afr's

I put down 450whp on Kans mustang dyno which confused me as why low as I was expecting higher. After looking at my logs I noticed three big culprits I was running lean up top 12.6 and at 7K I had only 13 degrees of timing and most importantly I was tapering bad from 29 at 4K to 23.2 at 7K I think the WGA really needs some preload. I has been difficult tuning on the street as I have 4.11 gears and running out in 3rd and 4th are 105 and 140. I've adjusted the timing up a few degrees and added some fuel and going to take out tonight and log and hopefully get the WGA adjusted by the weekend. BTW the car sounded awesome on the dyno everyone was impressed

What fuel are you on running 'only' 13* . Im guessing E85 since your falling lean up top (check fuel Pressure) . Are you using the HP Actuator already ? If so have you tried preloading it more?

Which turbo are you using?

I Usually start tuning in 2nd gear even in stock geared cars , Yours would be even easier since its geared much taller , and its safer . 100MPH on the street isnt very cool.
Then move up when your Fuel and timing is mostly dialed in. (sounds like your mostly past this stage)

You have to be careful with the preload sir, the latest revision utilizes a very stiff spring and if you preload it too much there is the possibility it will coil bind and you will find yourself in an overboost situation if the wastegate cannot bypass enough of the exhaust gases. From my calculations a full eyelet of preload puts you very near coil bind even without any wastegate travel, I'm concerned your wastegate may not be opening at all in this configuration...

I wil play with the actuator some. I mean it was still opening at half an eyelid so I made a few more turns and that is what I ended up with.

Question Ef3

I fitted my EF3 yesterday.
Still waiting for a reply from MAP before I give results.
I'm running a 2ltr long rod, rc1200 injectors, JMF Manifold, Modular Downpipe, good exhaust, updated intercooler & air filter.
What sort of power do you think I should expect?
