Oviously the engine didn´t go up and down 1000 rpm in .1 seconds, so I just deleted that line or added the "missing" 1000 rpm. The graph then became smotheer and power was a little down from the spike.

Might not be whats happened here, but worth a check. The power will still be kickass I´m sure

Cheers,

Yes I know to look for those things. I know all the odd things to check when logging. At first this car had a shock sensor on the SSD hard drive activated and it wasn't even loggable until we disabled that.

The logs are very good.. the laptop was like a quad core with 10gb mem, ssd, etc.. top notch hardware so the logging resolution was great.

it was a PITA because i didn't have a press.. first time i did it it didnt seat all the way and i had a bad boost leak.. so i called rob at FP and told him my issue and he installed it for me and i just had to cover shipping.

You used a press? Sounds like the o-ring was bunching up or something. I installed mine by hand, with a new o-ring from FP. Be sure to order the o-ring from FP when you buy the housing, the stock one is trashed a lot of the time and fits for crap versus the one FP supplies.

Removing the snap ring is a PITA without the right tool.

not sure what you guys are talking about.. i can remove mine in 30 seconds.. just need to use the fork arm as your leverage and have a nice big flat head screw driver and it pops right off.. no need for any kind of clamp or vice device

It's looking like we are going to hold off until ~January 2012 to get her back up and running. Notional upgrades include:

FP DBB Black
ToxicFab exhaust manifold
ToxicFab O2 dump
Shep ultimate ratio tranny
Exedy triple
BR double pumper
FIC 2150 injectors

At the very least we will get the tranny, clutch, double pumper and injectors. The Black, mani and dump will be purchased no later then summer 2012. My wife and I are more than ready to take our Evo to the next level and see what we can achieve on the stock block. Can't wait to have Tom work his magic!

Just be careful you don't achieve a stock block with a hole in it!

Just wondering, why is the weight set so high? In his sig it has a link showing weight reduction of ~85lbs including the mini battery. So I'm guessing around 420lbs of passengers?
