605whp FP Green DBB

FP Green DBB, what can I say it's my favorite turbo and now in a reliable bullet proof DBB configuration. First pull yielded 597/499 right off the street, second 602/503. third with a few more clicks on the MBC 605/529. That is pretty much the end of the map on this turbo, boost peaked at 31.5 and falls to 24.8 on the Dynojet, on the street it will hit 35ish and hold 26 with the cold air right now. So there you have it, one of the best street combos possible, BR 2.3RPM, FP Green DBB, ER SD, and pump E85(test E86 right now nice). These #'s are just a hair above(15% dyno diff) with what it did in the spring on Buschurs dyno at 533/424. Actually feels much faster with our cold weather than just 605 whp! Thanks Nate for letting me use the Dynojet.

Well hot damn. CBRE just sealed the deal for me. The HTA Green is the official Evo street turbo. I don't see many other bigger turbo's with torque curves like that!

Good job, Mr. Brown.

How can a DBB Green and 2.3 motor spool so late?

Mr. Brown, in your honest opinion, for someone that is making a 100% street trim car that might see 1 to 2, 1/4 mile passes a year, would you say that a standard BR 2.3 with 8500 rpm limit is sufficient? I see your graph was stopped just shy of 8000 and the power was starting to drop. Or, does the BR 2.3RPM feel more responsive down low as well? Thanks for any insight you can give.

How is the spool late? The HP and TQ curves are both damn near straight up starting at ~3300...

Seems to spool later on the Dynojet vs MD and street due to less load, here is the sheet from the MD:

Right now the car is by far the best it's ever been, it trapped 141.82 on the old non BB Green before, the way it feels now I would think 144ish is possible, not that I really care since I didn't build this car for drag racing.

The RPM motor just allows you a saftey margin above 9000, otherwise the standard will be fine for 8500.

Yeah why is it spooling up at 5000 on a DJ? It should be lower than 4k?
