The other good thing about the new EvoScan Virtual Dyno is that you don't have to edit the csv log and cut out the parts of the log you don't want. That part takes up quite a bit of time, between runs. EvoScan can compare two runs HP/TQ back to back immediately without even stopping the logger.

yeah I've had heaps of ideas for 6 years back when I started EvoScan, got the live dyno idea from seeing DatalogLab software. it takes quite a while to program the 1,000s of lines of code it takes to implement them all... How about this idea... Power comparison when on different parts of a race track using GPS positioning.. i.e. tells you +10hp or -25Hp on particular parts of the race track.

Results will be coming. I had a lot of work and long days. So we are getting pulls when we can.

Developed a boost leak somewhere. I took it all apart put it all back together. Tighten everything, added clamps where I did not have some, and zipties. I even changed location for the t off on the boost gauge. So the next runs I did today and sent to Chris hopefully are good to go.

Just taking things off and tightening back up may not fix all leaks. Sometimes too much tightening makes it leak beyond repair (ovalling of IC pipes)

I've always just tighten with my ratchet until I couldn't tighten with one finger. Then I pressurize the system near target boost. Tighten any leaks until they stop leaking.

But you probably did that too.

Yes drill I was carefully not to overtighten. Hopefully the logs I sent Chris are golden. One thing I noticed is that the my mechanical boost gauge spikenreal quick to 30, settles at 25 or 26 PS I and then does the typical tapering off at about 6800 rpm and higher. Anyone have the same experiences?

It'a normal for the boost to taper on stock turbos , common boost leaks are throttle body shaft seals, licp , lines behind the intake manifold.

here's the latest before and after chart. The tq isn't as high as it was but the top end is better than ever after quite a bit of effort on both of our parts.

93 oct?

Also at 26psi I would get ARP headstuds, your on the very edge of the stock ones.
In cold temp/other factors your could overshoot and blow your HG. It's worth it to get them before that happens...

We live in central texas , it doesn't get that cold here at all and I've been at nearly 400 whp and 430 wtq for along time with zero issues. I should be the one a little worried not him at that power level.
