781hp @41lbs ...On E85 ...on a Mustang Dyno ...3rd gear pull.

Finally got the car to the dyno today. Long story short, we ran out of fuel pump. I've got to do something different. Right now I'm running the Buscher double-pumper through the stock lines. I got no complaints about it at all, but I just need more fuel. We just could not get the car to richen up above 40lbs no matter how much duty cycle we added to the injector.

Keep in mind, these pulls were only made to 7k rpm. We had to get out of it because the car was going so lean. If we would of had fuel we would have made well over 800 today. So, I'm going to address the fuel issue somehow, and then try it again.

Here's the set up:
2.3L @ 11:1 compression
4g64 crank, Manley Turbo Tuffs, Diamond pistons
Block is filled with hardblock up to the bottom of the waterjackets (no, it doesn't overheat at all)
mildly ported head
1mm oversize valves
Kelford 284HL cams
Buschur valve springs
ID2000 injectors
Buschur double-pumper
Magnus intake
Boomba 75mm T-body
Bullseye Comp68r turbo (t-3 housing)
4inch downpipe and exhaust
Shephard Stage 5 transmission with 4.11 final drive.

Go here to see some updates I did recently to the car - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...m-exhaust.html

I've got two of those Walbro's... GSS340. Dave did his thing where they flow a bit more, but its still not enough.

You see in the first picture the black line at the bottom? Notice how it goes straight up? That's A/F ratio. And that's what it started to do every time at about 40lbs. no matter what we did.

Sorry that the pics are cut off like that. I had to downsize them to get them to load on this website.

I am currently using this one-

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRF-MP-4301/

But I am thinking about grabbing the street version of the 750 we used in Jeff's 1G-

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRF-MP-4303/

These are the street versions of the Pro Star race pump. Worked well so far for me. I was at 43.5psi base pressure but right at 40lbs where the in tank 255s will always drop this kept chugging. I am gonna up the base pressure first before buying a new pump.

Yes, car spooled much quicker and is making quite a bit more power at less boost than last year.

Thanks for the tip. I have had that 4303 on a Mustang so I know its a bad dude. How did you set it up? Did you weld a fitting on the bottom of the tank to feed it?

great numbers! i would recommend dual bosch 044 pumps parallel with a sumped tank. my friend runs this setup with only 4 1600cc injectors and a weldon regulator around 70psi fuel pressure and makes well over 900whp on a 2 liter (c16 fuel).
