Its not overboosting its a function of how the MAF works. It spools so fast and then you let off the air that has been measured in the MAF is then released right? The problem is the ECU has already added fuel for the air it expects to get and then doesnt get it. It goes WAY rich and then the O2 sensor freaks out and pulls back on the trims making it go temporarily lean. Repeat this formula 6-7 times in 30 seconds, you get pissed off how it drives, and then you decide to switch to SD and make it function the way it should.

We dont have the 2.4 listed on the website because we prefer to discuss both your goals and usage before we build the motor. We offer the standard 150mm rod 2.4 and the 156mm long rod which is currently the only motor we seem to build.

Please contact us through PM here, email- sales@englishracing.net , or via phone (360)-210-7484.

Thanks

Care to explain why rt? Does it offer similar spool with even more top end power?

Go read the BW thread.. I've been away from this site for a year and the BW thread is still going LOL..

Anyway that's some pretty serious insta-torque. I remember R/T's HKS would spool instantly on a 2.0 & I couldn't imagine what it would be like on a 2.4.. gd!

BW has a Titanium aluminum turbine wheel... which means it has a significantly reduced MOI of the rotating assembly. Which means it'll have INSANE transient response. I'm expecting my EFR7670 to respond as fast if not faster than the HKS7460... and make another 150whp.

It's the definition of having your cake and eating it too.

I take it no one has dyno'd the efr version of the 7670 with a 2.0+ block yet?
Closest I could find was this
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-graph-43.html

and the spool at 3k is not close.

There are a lot of differences between those two cars. And I promise you the transient response on the EFR setup is better than the HKS. 2.3L vs. 2.4L... not to mention the intake manifold, cams, and cylinder head packages are way different. MIVEC versus non-mivec... list goes on. The HKS won't make over 500whp and the EFR will do over 600... so like everything else it's a compromise.

Does the EFR 7670 allow stock manifold or do you need a custom tubular?
Having some problems finding pricing on the efr turbo anyone know where to find a price list? Or roughly how much more having a alu/ti turbine wheel costs vs say a regular or a inconel?

EFR7670's go for around 1800 IIRC. Hit up Raffi @ Full-Race for a price quote. EFR's do not bolt up to the OEM manifold... not stock appearing so you need a manifold, downpipe, dumptubes, oil lines, etc.

sorry for the OT Keath
