I was running an off the shelf GTX3576r with the ATP T4 TS 1.06 a/r turbine housing. I am unsure why there is confusion.

A GTX35R is also know as a GTX3582. The Turbo in this thread is a 35R turbine wheel with a smaller compressor wheel.

Says who? GTX35R means little to me besides it uses the 68mm turbine wheel and either the 76mm or 82mm compressor wheel.

It's like saying, "I drive a 911". Which one? Carrera? GT3? GT3RS? Turbo? GT2? GT2RS? Carrera 4S?

a "GT35r" used to be a specific designation for the GT3582r, which to my knowledge was the only turbo option using the 68mm "35r" turbine wheel. However, that is no longer true with the expanded product line:

GT3582r - "GT35r"
GTX3576r
GTX3582r

So do you run the ATP wrap heat shield on your setup?

I have used ATP heat shields on several projects including my own. I had custom shields made when I ran the RevHard setup.

For the ShortRunner TS setup using the ATP housing I did not have a shield made because I knew I would be changing setups. For my new TS top mount setup I will have a custom turbine housing cover made after I verify the setup is good.

Here are some pics I dug up of the shields I had made for the TwinTurbo ZR1 I fabricated.

There was no other way to run the piping to the front of the car on the PS and the 2.5" pipe we used was rubbing the flip up headlights. I ended up changing the piping to equivalent cross sectional area and the results were a much shorter IC pipe and the car picked up hp. That car was featured in Corvette Fever Magazine and you can see pictures of the original upper IC pipe before the low profile pipes were made. I really loved that car and it was awesome to drive.

it caught my eye because I have considered doing this on my tight engine compartment mirage chassis car. The IC pipes hang too low when I go under the radiator support. I want to go around the radiator for a shorter path but there isnt space for 2.5 inch pipes. they would have to be squeezed down like you did here. I figured it wouldnt loose any flow. just never seen it done.
